Bo & Anna | The Cottage Venue | Laurel, Mississippi
The sunlight poured through the trees just right, and everything about this Mississippi summer wedding whispered elegance and intention.
Bo and Anna’s wedding at The Cottage Venue in Laurel, MS was the kind of wedding that reminds me why I love being a Mississippi wedding photographer. Surrounded by the softest blues hues and delicate florals of white roses, blue hydrangeas, baby’s breath, delphinium ad garden-style roses, by Becky Garvin, and a stunning gown that caught the morning light just perfectly… every detail felt personal.
Anna and Bo chose to do a first look at the ceremony site earlier in the day and get started early on couple portraits. After the ceremony we were able to get even more portraits at Golden Hour as Mr. and Mrs. Did you know what if you choose to do a first look, you get up to 40% more portraits of the two of you together?
Later that evening, the two of them shared a romantic classic car exit in a vintage red convertible—an unforgettable moment that felt straight out of a timeless Southern love story.
From that sweet exchange to Anna’s heartfelt first look with her girls, the entire day held a stillness—and a peace about it. There was no rush to get through portraits and plenty of time to spend together, make a few TikToks and laugh!
Catering by Anna Ezell added warmth and hospitality to a day already full of meaning, and every thoughtful touch made guests feel right at home. I always know that when Anna caters, it’s not only going to taste good but her presentation is top tier!
It wasn’t just beautiful—it was deeply them. And what a gift it was to document it.
