I left Hailey and Carson’s engagement session at The Montgomery House just so grateful—grateful for the kind of couples I get to work with, and grateful for how this job lets me step into such meaningful seasons with them.
These two were an absolute dream to photograph. Hailey’s outfit choices were beautiful—elegant but effortless—and they both made it so easy to just be with them. The kind of ease that comes from being fully themselves, and letting me in.
As we moved through the session, we talked about everything. The plans, the hopes, the little details they’re dreaming up for their July 2026 wedding day. And this is one of my favorite parts of engagement sessions: it’s not just about the photos—it’s about the relationship. I get to see how they interact, what makes them laugh, and how they light up when they talk about each other. That kind of insight shapes how I shoot their wedding day. It makes everything more personal.
The Montgomery House gave us such a beautiful backdrop—warm light through the trees, soft greens everywhere, and the kind of quiet charm that makes people instantly feel at home. Which is exactly what Hailey and Carson bring, too. There’s something grounding and joy-filled about the way they are together.
Their July wedding can’t come soon enough. I already know it’s going to be one of those days where the meaning runs deep and the love is undeniable.
