First of all, thank you for considering me for your child's senior portrait casual session. This is going to be a whirlwind of a year! I've had two daughters graduate from high school so I know firsthand how fast this year will fly by. There is a long "to-do" list already set for senior year and my goal is to make this part as easy and as FUN as I can make it.

I promise that in addition to great images of your senior, we'll also have fun and make some memories during our time together. Take a few minutes to look over the information below and make sure you've looked over my website to see some of my most recent work. I'd love to talk with you and answer any questions that you may have after you've had some time to look over everything. 

Your senior pictures are just for you. It's a time
during your senior year that in the middle of all of the
hard work, the tests, the late night studying and early
mornings wakeups, you get a "time out". A time to be
pampered, to feel special, to dress up and have fun, to
laugh, and to be carefree.
This year will pass all too quickly and before you
know it you'll be moving on to something new. Most
likely moving away, heading off to college, and high
school will be far behind. A photo is a capture of a
moment in time, it's meant not just to show off your
best "you" to everyone you share it with (though we'll
certainly do that!), but above all it's meant as a gift to
yourself.

The Process

Congratulations! If you are reading this,
you have already been in contact with me and
requested information. Your first step is done!
Now, let's go to my booking calendar!  here, you can see my available dates, choose your date, fill out a quick questionnaire, sign your contract and pay your deposit. After this, I'll give you a call and I'll explain my process in more detail and
answer any questions you may have.

Once you've booked your session I will send over a session
guide packed with information including location
inspiration, a style guide, links to purchase specific outfits
and more. I will also send over a questionnaire for you to
fill out. This is the tool that I use to find out exactly what
YOU want for YOUR session! Start thinking ahead of time
what your ideal location and style is. A week or so before
we'll follow up with discussing finalized clothing options to
ensure we're on the same page with everything. You'll also
have my cell number and I encourage my seniors to send
me any and all inspiration that you have for your session.
By your session day, I'll have a complete mood board
designed specifically by you. I'll keep an eye on the weather
as well to make sure we have beautiful skies and perfect
sunsets.

It's shooting day! Just relax and be ready to have
fun! I will give you tons of ideas and direction
throughout your session so no prior modeling
needed. ;) I find that the best photos are the candid
ones that happen between the posed ones, we'll
make sure you're comfortable and relaxed, even if it
means me making fun of myself. If there is
something specific you want, make sure you let me
know ahead of time so we can arrange it. Parents
are of course welcome and are actually encouraged
to help you feel more comfortable and we want
them to feel included in the process as well!

A day or two after your session, I will send you a few
teasers just to get you more excited about the next
step....your gallery! Your online gallery will be ready
within a week of your session. I will send you a link to
your gallery that you can share with family and friends.
We'll then set up a time that we can meet together.
During your ordering session you will view all of your
edited and re-touched images as well as the different
prints and products that we can create with your
images. I will help walk you through the process and
collections as well as give you descriptions of products
and suggest what fits best for your session style. We can
work with a variety of budgets to accommodate and
make your session memorable. This is the perfect time
to purchase gifts to cherish for a lifetime!

Once we have finalized your print/product/digital
image order and all payments have been made I will
order and then deliver your products. This is my
absolute favorite part of the entire client experience
process. Delivery days are like getting to see all your
beautiful gifts unwrapped and in your hands. I love
watching families flip through photo books and get
excited about their customized frames. Something
about holding your own photos in tangible form
truly makes my heart happy
