June 3, 2023 will forever go down as one of my most favorite days as a photographer. To see Raegan’s Wedding Day dreams come true was just magical. Raegan and Caleb hired me over a year ago to photograph their wedding and the day finally came. The Reed House at Live Oaks in Flora is such a beautiful venue. From the Bridal Cottage to the huge Live Oaks in and around the property, everything is so thought out and is a photographers dream. Every where you turn there is an amazing spot for portraits and believe me, we took full advantage of it.

We had to watch the weather pretty close but after a brief rainstorm mid-afternoon, the temperature actually dropped and the evening was so beautiful. We even got a touch of golden glow during their couple portraits after the ceremony.
We started our morning in the Bridal Cottage. The size was perfect for all the girls to get dressed and hang out and the natural light inside was spot on! I especially loved the actual Bridal Suite where Raegan got dressed with her mom and grandmother. Raegan’s dress was an absolute stunner but her veil was the real showstopper. What made it even more special is that her grandmother actually hand made it. Yes! That’s right. She made it. And the details….
Let’s talk about Raegan’s color palette. Who says Fall colors should only be used in the Fall? Fresh Cut did an amazing job on her florals and they just popped everywhere we went. The dark oranges mixed with shades of yellow, maroon, white and even pink were so carefully thought out and mixed in a way I have never seen before.
There were so many special touches and special moments that I can’t even post them all! All the first looks… all the details scattered around the venue. These were what made the day priceless.
Caleb’s Grandfather built this awesome sign to greet the guests as they arrived!
This was filled with all the letters that Raegan and Caleb shared while he was at Basic Training.
Caleb’s Nametag was pinned into Raegan’s Wedding Gown.
